Bacon, oh bacon how you torment me!
Pig Candy is so simple, yet so delicious! You will never have enough bacon around the house if you give this to your guests…
1 lb Bacon – thick cut
3-4 TB Walnuts or pecans – crushed
Prepare your grill for indirect, low heat grilling with a sheet of foil under the off-side. This will be your drip tray.
Skewer the bacon and place on a baking sheet. Coat the bacon with the brown sugar and crushed nuts. Grill roast for 30 to 40 minutes or until the bacon is rendered and starting to crisp. Be careful not to overcook the bacon – if it’s too crunchy, it’s hard to eat! Enjoy!
