Three More BBQ Grand Championships!

Three times in 2012 House of Q was awarded BBQ Contest Grand Championships. The first was at the Big Red Barn Burner (Chilliwack, BC), followed by the BC Festival of Chili and BBQ (Langley, BC) and then the BBQ on the Bypass (Langley, BC).

Rock’n Red BBQ Sauce Launched

Feeling a gap in flavor profiles, BBQ Brian crafts a tangy, tomato BBQ sauce and launches it into stores in conjunction with CFOX “Grills Gone Wild” campaign on the Jeff O’Neil Show. The new sauce is called Rock’n Red BBQ Sauce.

CFOX Grills Campaign Starts with the Jeff O’Neil Show

Sugar & Spice BBQ Sauce Launched

Adding to the strong selling line of BBQ sauces is a spicier, more complex in flavor sauce: Sugar & Spice BBQ Sauce. This sauce defies categorization with it being super-sweet up front and then becoming spicy!

BBQ Brian Changes Careers

Jack Daniel’s World Invitational BBQ

House of Q qualified by winning Grand Championships and was invited to the Jack Daniel’s World Invitational BBQ Competition in October, 2009. Among the seven different entries the team sent to the judges, House of Q came home with 5th place Dessert.

House Rub Launched

A recipe crafted over and over again finally makes it into a jar and onto merchants shelves. House Rub is a very well balanced and very tasty. The spice mix has been a staple seasoning at House of Q ever since!

Slow Smoke Gold BBQ Sauce Launched

Invited to National BBQ Festival in Georgia

House of Q, only two years into the making, are invited to the National BBQ Festival, the Best of the Best in Douglas, Georgia. The team participated amongst 60 or so teams and got awards for 10th place chicken, 16th in pork and notably, 10th for Apple Butter BBQ Sauce.

Not 1 but 2 Grand Championships!

With a tie for total points, House of Q was awarded their first-ever Grand Championship in Trail, BC in May of 2007. The team was awarded Grand Champion later in September 2007 at the BBQ on the Bypass in Langley, BC.
