At the 26th Annual Jack Daniel’s World Invitational BBQ Championship in Lynchburg, TN in late October, House of Q was awarded the top international team for the pork category. The contest draws BBQ competitors from around the globe to rural Tennessee at the Jack Daniel’s distillery to compete for bragging rights and cash prizes. The event draws over 25,000 visitors to the small community to celebrate the best BBQ teams to see who is the best at their craft.
House of Q was awarded 175.4 points out of 180 for their pulled pork entry to take top international team in the category and 6th place amongst all entries.
BBQ Brian says “the award was amazing – we jumped out of our seats and yelled and screamed as we made it to the stage to get our award.” This is the second time that House of Q has attended the competition.
House of Q is the 2014 Canadian BBQ Society Team of the Year and BBQ Brian has his first cookbook titled “Grilling with House of Q” coming to stores across North America in the spring of 2015.
